Welcome!

This website is an online companion to For Those In Peril On The Sea, the debut novel from Colin M. Drysdale, which has been described by one reviewer as ' ... different and superior in concept as well as content ...' and was given a much-coveted and rarely awarded five stars out of five by Foreword Reviews (click here to read the full review).

Primarily set in the northern Bahamas, this book weaves its story of post-apocalyptic survival into the local sub-tropical seascape and the sailing culture that can be found there. With its evocative use of real locations haunted by zombie-like infected and atmospheric depictions of the trials of life at sea drawn from the author's own experiences, For Those In Peril On The Sea provides a new and unusual take on the traditional post-apocalyptic and zombie genre.

Uniquely, the author has created an interactive map to accompany this book which allows the reader to explore the real locations where the events in the book are set and see the routes taken by the characters as they move around the local landscape. This map can be viewed by clicking here.
